Karen Welsh is a practising fine artist and is currently based at Spike Island - a leading venue for the production and display of contemporary visual arts. Her award winning work has been exhibited nationally and internationally since 1999 and has been purchased for many private and public collections. Originally from a science background, her design work creates the perfect bridge between creative technologies and her love of tactile, traditional materials.
